Our client is looking for eighty people to take on the role of Onion Trimmer for their commercial farm located in Tarome, Qld which is 60 km away from Ipswich, Qld.

Commencing early September and running for a four-month (approx.) contract, the role sees you using handheld scissors to trim the bottom and top of onion and put the onion on the bin is provided. The work is physically demanding – requiring you to bend and kneel, working in the field under all weather conditions, including rain. Full training is provided to all new workers.

Working hours are five to six days per week, around 8-10 hours per day and on an hourly rate. You will be working in teams; we estimate 5 teams of 16.

• Previous vegetable harvesting experience (ideally)
• Self-motivated with plenty of initiative

• Have own transport – preferred
• Able to arrange own accommodation (you can look for Aratula area first)
