Role Overview
The NDIS Plan Manager Assistant supports the NDIS Plan Manager in overseeing and managing participant funding. The role involves assisting with payment processing, budget tracking and forecasting, contract administration, financial documentation, and reporting tasks.
The position also includes general administrative duties within the home care team, supporting daily operations and ensuring accurate record-keeping across services.
This role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a basic accounting background who is financially aware, proactive in identifying funding discrepancies, and committed to maintaining compliance with NDIS financial regulations. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, accountability, and a willingness to continuously improve internal systems and processes.
Required Qualifications & Licenses
• Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, with strong written and verbal English communication skills, is essential
• Basic accounting knowledge is required
• Knowledge or experience in finance, administration, bookkeeping, or accounts payable/receivable is highly preferred
• Strong computer literacy; experience with NDIS software (e.g., Careview) is advantageous
• Australian Driver’s Licence
• Australian Federal Police Check
• No specific licensing requirements
