About the role

We are currently seeking Food and Beverage champions to join our outlets including LaBoca, our In Room Dining Service and Banquets on a casual basis. All our Food & Beverage Attendants are responsible for providing 5 Star customer service to our guests. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Supervisors, you will be responsible for ensuring all guests receive an exceptional restaurant experience. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Maintain high levels of customer service.
• Attend to all guest needs in a polite and cheerful manner.
• Experience is preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests would be beneficial.
• Work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Deliver food and drinks in an efficient and confident manner.

What We need from you: 

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage/ Bar attending in a 5-star Hotel environment
• Be organised and have an eye for detail
• Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while constantly maintaining a calm demeanour
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to build strong customer relationships
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
• Previous experience in bartending is desirable
• Must have RSA Certificate
• Must have Food Safety Handling Certificate (from either unit SITXFSA005 or SITXFSA006)
• Must have legal rights to work in Australia
