Hello,

I’m Cathy Smith and I specialise in teaching English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) to adults who are beginners, elementary-level students, or those lacking confidence in their English ability. I established S. and L. English Lessons in 2016 as I wanted students to have access to good quality English language lessons for a reasonable price. All of my lessons are done online (using Google Meet or Microsoft Teams) and students can purchase either a Price Plan (multiple lessons, which offer good value for money) or a single lesson.

It’s not always easy to find a teacher you feel comfortable with, so I aim to make this a less stressful and more pleasant experience.
