We are looking for a functions manager with some management background within the hospitality industry, with good planning and operational understanding/skills. The successful applicant will be working to coordinate catering functions and managing the small café. We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills with an outgoing, yet professional personality.

This is a casual position 30+hrs per week at the start with permanent full-time position for the right candidate. You will play a vital role in maintaining the functions and café operations .

The role details:

· Monday to Friday

· Catering functions are held between 8:30-5:30

· Café operating hours are 10-2

· No weekends

· Own transport is desirable.

Responsibilities and Skills:

Supervise wait staff.

Plating food, making toasties and sandwiches

Barista skills are desirable but not necessary
Able to provide an exceptional standard of customer service.

Qualifications:

· RSA certificate

· Food safety certificate
