Honour Care is seeking an experienced female Support Worker to join the support team for a female client living in Camp Hill, who experiences bipolar, depression, and anxiety.
We are an NDIS-registered provider delivering high-quality, person-centred support. This role involves working as part of a consistent support team and providing reliable backup support when required.
Pay Rate
From AU$40.00 per hour (based on experience and shift type)
About the Role
This role focuses on supporting the client with daily routines, emotional regulation, and maintaining healthy lifestyle habits.
Personal Care & Daily Living Support
• Washing dishes
• Laundry (washing, hanging, folding)
• Shower assistance or supervision
• Light household tasks
• Support with maintaining daily routines
Community Access & Activities
• Morning exercise, including attending swimming sessions as a gym buddy
• Supporting safe participation in gym and pool activities
• Encouraging engagement in healthy lifestyle routines
• Accompanying the client during community outings when required
Team-Based Support
• Work collaboratively with existing Support Workers
• Provide backup support for the team when needed
• Maintain clear and timely communication with Honour Care management and the support team
Shift Availability
• Morning shifts and weekend shifts (flexible roster)
• Additional hours may be available depending on client needs and team coverage
What We’re Looking For
• Female Support Worker (client preference)
• Reliable, consistent, and comfortable working within a team-based care model
• Confident supporting individuals with psychosocial needs
• Able to maintain professional boundaries
• Comfortable entering a swimming pool for low-intensity exercise
Essential Requirements
• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check (if applicable)
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module
• Driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle (if transporting the client)
• Valid working rights in Australia
Highly Regarded
• Experience supporting people with bipolar, depression, or anxiety
• Experience in mental health or community services
