Pitch and Fork is a slick modern family-friendly café that shares a space with the revamped clubhouse of Toowong's Wests Rugby Club. Alongside a striking feature wall Colosseum-like brick arches the most al fresco dining space catches the summer breeze and enjoys views up the hill to the war monument of Toowong Memorial Park.

We are looking for a full-time assistant manager who can grow with us as a team. someone who is able to stand in when the manager is not here, someone who can be a strong leader with structure. Someone who is calm under pressure is a must. you will be working along with the manager as well floor supervisor with events and daily tasks.

• Qualifications & experience
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
• Must be able to work in all areas, including making a good coffee with simple latte art. (This is not your job If you can not make a coffee with any simple latte art)
• At least 1 or 2 years of barista experience.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management and works well under pressure
• Must be available at weekends
• High standard of personal hygiene and presentation
• Attention to detail
• A team player

Tasks & responsibilities

• Motivate and manage a small team
• Staff training
• Must lead by example and delegate jobs when needed
• Stock control, ordering and liaising with suppliers
• Working close to the manager and owner
