The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
Extensive hands on experience in Electronics/ Optics Production/Service workshop environment;
Certificate IV in Electronics/Avionics;
Experience in the Defence industry;
Experience in the use of electrical and optical test equipment;
Understand generic electrical architecture (AC/DC), system integration (Analogue and Digital) and Defence electronics systems;
Ability to work in fast paced environment with tight deadlines;
Proficient in Microsoft Office products;
The ability to relate generic electronics knowledge to unfamiliar systems for troubleshooting and repair.
Ability to write work instructions;
Ability and willingness to conduct business trips on request; and
Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
