Summary:

Odaya Tea Cafe is looking for a Casual Staff member to join our team as a Drink Maker. As a Drink Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality drinks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Beverage Preparation:

Prepare a wide range of beverages, including tea, coffee, and specialty drinks.
Ensure the quality and consistency of each drink by following the provided recipes and standards.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines for food and beverage preparation.

2. Customer Service:

Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Take customer orders and provide recommendations when necessary.
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering a high level of service.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues professionally.

3. Cleanliness and Maintenance:

 Keep the drink preparation area and equipment clean and sanitized.
Restock supplies as needed and keep the work area organized.
Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as wiping counters, tables, and equipment.


4. Cash Handling:

Handle customer payments, including cash and credit card transactions.
Accurately process orders and provide receipts when necessary.


5. Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in other duties, including food preparation and customer service, as required.


6. Qualifications:

Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a cafe or foodservice environment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of drink preparation and barista skills is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
A friendly and positive attitude.
