So Thai massage and spa (Market Square Sunnybank) is currently seeking a reliable and customer-oriented receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their experience is positive from the moment they enter our centre. This position involves opening and setting up the shop in addition to receptionist duties. Flexibility to work within our business hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Responsibilities:

1. Open the shop promptly according to scheduled opening times

2. Set up reception area and treatment rooms to ensure they are clean, organized, and properly stocked

3. Greet clients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes

4. Manage appointment bookings and ensure schedules are accurately maintained

5. Provide information about our services and answer inquiries from clients both in-person and over the phone

6. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and common spaces

7. Process payments and handle cash transactions with precision

8.Collaborate with massage therapists and other staff members to ensure smooth operations

9. Close the shop at the end of the day, ensuring all areas are tidy and secure

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a spa or wellness centre environment

2. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills(fluent in English and Chinese is preferred)

3. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

4. Knowledge of Thai massage techniques and terminology is a plus, but not required
