Warrigal Square Shopping Centre Shopping Centre, we are seeking a cook/short order cook.

We’re looking for people who enjoy working in a team, learning and developing new skills and love a fast-paced environment and who are experienced, well presented, energetic with attention to detail and highly motivated.

This position is casual starting with approximately 15 to 25 hours per week and requires you to be available to accommodate a 7 day roster.

main duties and requirements?

• You will be cooking meats in our deep fryer.
• You will be performing food prep on meat, vegetables and prawn
• You will be ensuring the kitchen is always at a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
• You will be required to have knowledge of food safety.
• You will be performing general cleaning duties
• You must have flexible availability


Our store has quite a high volume during the lunchtime service and weekend therefore you must have previously worked in a similar restaurant for at least 1 year as a cook/short order cook with a strong ability to work under pressure and communicate clearly.

Hours: 15 - 25 per week

Experience:
• Must be experienced in  kitchen.

Shift availability:
• Day Shift (Required)
  lunch 10am-2:30
  Dinner 5pm-9:30
• weekend shift
