We’re looking for a Kitchen Team Member to join our growing café team at Chouette Cake & Dessert.

If you enjoy working in a fun café environment, like hands-on work, and want to be part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you. This role is perfect for working holiday makers, students, or anyone looking for stable hours and a positive workplace culture.

✨ Position
Kitchen Team Member

✨ Employment Type
Full time / Part time

Minimum 25 hours per week
(Additional hours may be available depending on availability and performance)

✨ We’d Love Someone Who:
Has experience in a café, bakery, or kitchen environment
(Preferred but not essential)

Enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment

Is reliable, organised, and willing to learn

Has basic English communication skills

Has a positive attitude and enjoys helping others

Can stay calm and work efficiently during busy periods

Coffee-making experience is a bonus, but not required
(This role is mainly kitchen based, although basic front-of-house support may sometimes be needed)

✨ Main Duties
Assisting with daily kitchen and bakery preparation

Product making and baking

Food preparation and stock organisation

Cleaning dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness

Following recipes and workplace procedures

Working closely with team members during service

Helping front-of-house when needed

Supporting the team with general daily tasks
