Join us for a public cupping session in collaboration with Axil Coffee Roasters. 2025 World Barista Champion Jack Simpson and Axil 

Coffee Director Matt Crowley will both be there, with a Q&A session on the day.

Ask them anything. Competition prep, roasting, sourcing, or what a World Barista Champion thinks makes a truly great cup. This is your 

chance to ask directly.

No coffee knowledge needed at all. If you are curious about coffee, you are welcome here.

The Hideout Specialty Coffee is officially opening its third Brisbane location!

2025 World Barista Champion Jack Simpson and 2026 Australian National Cup Tasters Champion Karl Lee will be on the brew bar, serving exceptional coffee on the day in collaboration with Axil Coffee Roasters.

* No coffee knowledge needed. Everyone is welcome.
