We're looking for a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team at Piccolo By Him!

We're a busy breakfast cafe in the heart of Fortitude Valley serving a quality made-to-order menu including Eggs Benedict, French Toast and more. Our kitchen is well-equipped with a grill and full prep setup — we take our food seriously and so should you.

About the Role:

- Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a high standard

- Work confidently with knives, grill and other kitchen equipment

- Assist with counter orders and coffee runs during busy periods

- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently

- 3 to 5 days per week availability preferred

- Morning shifts

What We're Looking For:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment essential

- Confident with knife skills and grill cooking

- Strong English communication skills are a must — you'll be interacting with customers and the team regularly

- Comfortable jumping between kitchen and floor when needed

- Positive attitude and a team-first mindset

- Works well under pressure and takes pride in the food they produce

- Punctual and reliable
