Hi,

My name is Caleb, a Mechanical Engineering (Hon.) Graduate from UQ. I have been in the workforce as an engineer for about 2 years. My passion for teaching maths and physics has always kept me involved in tutoring ever since completing high school.

Through my tutoring experience and my qualification in tertiary level mathematics, I have developed various intuitive ways of teaching. I pride myself in my ability to answer not just the how it’s done but also why it works for my students. I have helped many students achieve their learning goals and gain more interest in maths and physics through more engagement. I offer my students a deeper insight into mathematics and train them to be more effective problem solvers. They will appreciate how to apply all the mathematical methods at their disposal and will no longer be mindlessly memorising steps. For every lesson, I will carry out the following duties:

- Identify and address desired learning goals.

- Personalise approach with more emphasise on weaknesses

- Address gaps in skills and understanding.

- Provide tailored homework problems to verify understanding.

- Discuss future plans and update parents on student’s progress.
